Suitable for fully vaccinated puppies from 8 weeks to 20 weeks of age its the perfect start to your training journey. We make training fun for you and your puppy, so that you can all enjoy the development process and get the best results. We understand that dogs (just like humans) are individuals, our instructors tailor all of our training to the individual dog and owner, so whether you would like a confident family companion, or highly skilled working or sport dog our Puppy Foundation Skills are the place to start. Our six week course includes: Building a faultless recall. Do Not Touch - for those items which are dangerous! Perfect lead walking - and preventing it going wrong! Managing puppy biting - The teething process Settle - teaching your puppy to relax and do nothing in busy environments. Vet visits, the tools for success - desensitising to stressful scenarios. Integrating your puppy into the family Toilet Training General household manners including food bowls, doorways, gates, getting in and out of the car. Greeting etiquette Play Skills Enrichment for maximum brain development and learning to learn. Diet - feeding your puppy to support growth and brain development. All of our classes are very practical with 6 dogs maximum, you will be actively learning for the full 50 minutes. We welcome the whole family to get involved in training, and well behaved children are always welcome in class. We only use positive reinforcement methods, so you will be required to bring plenty of rewards to class with you every week and we will send you home with tasks to work on at home but all of our training can be easily integrated into every day life, so you don't need to find heaps of extra time! We highly recommend supplementing your puppy course with our Puppy Experiences.
