Service Description

We are really excited to be able to host a Double Silver ScentOps Trial on Sunday 15th February 2026, at Newbury Christmas Tree Farm. We will be trailing this brand-new venue (outdoors)! Please be aware that the facilities on site are very limited and this is a working farm. There is a gravel car park and a single toilet. Terrain can be uneven underfoot so unfortunately this is not a wheelchair accessible venue - please wear appropriate footwear. If competing in both the morning and afternoon trials, you will need to bring lunch and drinks with you. We would also recommend bringing water for your dogs, as if the weather is particularly cold or icy the taps here sometimes do freeze over. Dog poo bins will be available on site. You will be able to walk your dogs around the venue, however they must remain on lead (apart from during your search) at all times as there is wildlife (deers / rabbits etc) that may roam across the site as there is no perimeter fence around the boundary. Please be aware that this venue is next door to Hettie’s Secure Dog Fields (which you are welcome to book for private use via their website, x2 secure fields available). SILVER-Two hides, set to encourage clearing of the area, which should be 'real life' and offer a fair challenge. 5 minutes. Running orders and trial information will be sent out no later than 48 hours pre-trial. If you have any issues with timings or would like to make any requests, please do so at the soonest possible opportunity. Running time requests cannot be guaranteed. All entries will be entered in the ScentOps Champions League unless selected otherwise on the entry form.
